1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Helix Trading LLC ("Helix", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use the Helix platform, websites, and related services (the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to the practices described here.
Helix is a trading-technology platform. We provide software, analytics, and infrastructure. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, futures commission merchant, or custodian, and we do not take custody of your funds or route your orders on your behalf — your brokerage relationship and order routing remain with you and your platform.
2. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and authentication identifiers. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication; we do not store your password.
Trading and usage data
If you connect a trading platform (e.g. NinjaTrader) through the optional local uplink, we receive market and account telemetry — bars, signals, executions, fills, positions, and account statistics — scoped to your authenticated account so we can render your dashboard and operate the Services. This data is transmitted from your machine; your broker credentials and order routing never leave your machine.
Billing information
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We receive subscription status, plan, and limited metadata. We do not collect or store full card numbers — card data is handled directly by Stripe under their security standards.
Technical data
We collect standard technical information such as IP address, device/browser type, and product interactions, and we use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.
3. How we use information
- Operate, maintain, and secure the Services and your account.
- Render your dashboard, signals, risk metrics, and execution analytics.
- Process subscriptions, billing, and entitlements.
- Provide support and respond to your requests.
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Improve product performance and reliability, and develop new features.
- Send service, security, and (where permitted) product communications.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on the bases of performance of a contract (to provide the Services), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Services), consent (e.g. non-essential cookies and marketing), and compliance with legal obligations.
6. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, then for the period required to meet legal, tax, accounting, and security obligations. You may request deletion as described below; some records may be retained where we have a legal basis or obligation to do so.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS), authenticated access, per-user data isolation enforced at the database layer, and least-privilege access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. See our Security page for more detail.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent. You can exercise these rights, or request account deletion, by contacting us at the address below.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA) have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale"/"sharing" — we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. To make a request, email helixquantumsolutions@gmail.com.
9. International transfers
We operate using cloud infrastructure that may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Children's privacy
The Services are intended for adults (18+) and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, by additional notice.
